Dave, that smith looks pretty impressive man....i wonder if the two bars move in sync or not....
if you see in the vid, a frame moves in a horizontal plain and you have the actual Smithy bar that moves in the vertical position. The vertical and horizontal movements are independent so it give free movement in two dimensions.
You can also lock it into a "traditional" Smithy and not have it move in the horizontal direction too.
