| Rank: Member Experience: 1-2 Years | I wish I could even lift for long enough at a time to have the luxury. I haven't lifted heavy in ~2mo., been focusing all my energy on wrestling. (Season starts in five days.) But, leaving that out of the equation, I'd probably deload about every four weeks. |

| If I was strictly strength training (no injuries, or SE work) then i would prob deload roughly every 8 weeks, or when I felt like my body needed it. Its tough to put a difinitive time frame on it, cause if your gaining its hard to mentally take a step back. |

| Moderator Rank: Light Heavyweight Experience: 7-10 Years | I always thought I could go six to eight weeks myself.. But I've come to find out that I have much better results across the board hitting a deload after no more than four weeks. Sometimes I think I can push it for another week or two, especially when I'm "in the zone" strength wise. But, each time I don't pull back on the reigns, one of two things ALWAYS happen: Either my pec starts aching, or I feel really run down and completely unmotivated. |
