Default Elbow Pain

I've been having a reoccurring pain in my left elbow. I guess it could be caused by any number of things but I think it's b/c I've been upping my weight a little too high on kick backs. On days I have the pain it makes my arm stiff and hurts to fully extend it. When it first happened I stopped working out for a week to let it heal and started back again with just a little less weight on my last sets but it's hurting again. How long do you guys think I should stop my routine for and what if anything else should I do to insure a full recovery this time?

kickbacks are prety much a waste anyway so i say ditch 'em if they cause you pain.
you might want to see a doctor too.

Well I just started doing kickbacks b/c I thought maybe it was the skull crushers that were causing me to hurt myself but I think it just may be that I'm using too much weight. What is a tricep excercise worth doing? I'm only working with dumbells here.

DB bench works your triceps. If you already do bench then any other tri work might be overtraining, depending on the circumstances.

The pain in my elbow turned out to be the tendon to my bicep. I'm doing the RICE thing now. How long shoud I wait before working out again and should I start back with less weight than I usually lift?
