ok, several things to note.

1.) arnie's program is shit. please stop doing it. its a waste of ur time.

2.) u cant fail @ 5x5. if u fail at 5x5 it means u havent understood it properly. please tell me what 5x5 program u did.

thanks for all the input I plan on sticking with the program I am on as long as it keeps working. why do you all think Arnold's programs suck? I mean he did get good results himself on them( I know he took steroids). Like I said I am just happy to get some results and we will see if they continue if not then you all can say u told me so. thanks again for the good replies I greatly appreciate it.

Arnolds program is ALOT of volume and grueling work in the gym. If you could get away with less volume and a workout that wasn't so brutal on you, then why not do it? Honestly you could probably gain more doing a typical 5x5 program or a beginner/intermediate program.

Don't forget, Arnie was a pro. It was his job to hit the gym. He devoted all his time to training, recovery, diet, plus he had a little 'help'....That is completely different than the average person hitting the gym and taking a protein shake.

Before anyone says anything, I know RC has a job but RC has definitely had more 'help' than Arnie.
