You should go to this website:
www.bodybuilding.net

In their training forum there are a bunch of stickies that has tons of great training advice. After reading all of those you should be able to have a pretty good understanding of what a good training program should be.

First your diet has to be in check, write down what your eating so that we have a better idea.

Next , make sure your doing cardio and keep you workouts intense to burn to most fat, while you build.

I see it all the time--people beating themselves up in the gym and not seeing results. They don't understand that hitting the weights hard is only a small part of growing or even cutting down. I could train the same all year round and get big or get ripped just by eating different and taking different supplements"

I posted my response because he posted like 4 or so threads on pretty much the same subject...I talked to him as well and he was quite eager for a response. I wasn't telling no one to do nothing. Just giving the thread a bump. I tried suggesting some things but he wants an "expert" so there ya go peeps!

I concur, that's probably the best thing you can do.

Poof! You're there.

I'd suggest, with that kind of weight, that after you get your diet going as Talo suggested, for training you focus on strength development and cardio until the fat is down more. Once you get to a better muslce building weight (not that you won't put on any in the meanwhile) the strength will help you achieve that.

Eric3237's Sig:To go from the general to the specific is a very good idea. But to go from the specific to the general; that's just confusing.
