Good lord. That dude has got some hip drive. One of the most dangerous but highly impressvie things I have seen. Doing that with 155 should give some perspective to the guys who think they're the shit because the max out the stack on the lat pulldown I can barely get onto my feet doing that with no weight and I feel like a big sloppy mess trying it.

Damn the guys got some crazy skills, and probably unbelieveable core strength. Thats hard just try to do it without a barbell, let alone doing it while balancing 155 lbs. on your shoulder ... crazy !!

I honestly wouldnt suggest doing these ever. After a few reps I can just see someone getting tired, pushing it, catching a toe, and going face first into the ground with 155lbs on thier head. Now if you had a vest, or something then I could see doing them safely.

that is a good Idea. I might try these with some DBs so if I have to, I can dump the weight. But first, I have to see how many I can do without any weight.

Dave if you end up doing ten in a row or some such I'm never speaking to you again .

P.S. you can royally screw your knees in about a nanosecond so be careful. Honestly just dong kneeling squats is a great way to train glute and hip drive without having to actually leave the ground. But even those can be messed up pretty easily. I'm not sure if such an exercise is worth it but good luck if you try it.

get ready to not speak to me. I just did 6 in a row without weight in my office. It's a little weird trying to think about how to jump up. I'll warm up next time and work on form and see how many I can do.

Hmm. I've never seen that done with weight, but it looks like a wrestling move we do sometimes in practice. I did five just now with no weight and it wasn't bad, maybe I'll have to start working these into my practices.

Good stuff Dave, thanks.
