Okay, I am not sure how to start this in order not to sound phony and pathetic. I am struggling with myself, my nutrition and training habits since I have finished primary school (I am almost 20 now). Anyhow, it has reached the peak in the last few days and, believe me, I cannot stand it anymore. What I want from you is to help me to find strength and motivation to control myself and stop overeating. This was hard to say... I love bodybuilding and aerobics, but when it comes to food, I am totally powerless. If anyone is willing to help and thinks it is worth, please contact me, because I have realised that however hard I try, I am just not capable of doing this alone.

Thanks...

I am very surprised to see someone really answered. It is so stereotypical, is it not?! Yap, I left home when I was 16, to go to study to other country, always tending to some perfection. Actually, I thought it would be better to change environment, but I just could not escape from myself. The thing is, everything looks perfect, I have carrying parents (although they live in a different country), write my tests 100%, but I am still unheapy and eat everytime I am depressed, as if that would solve my problems. I am not fat, 165cm, 55kg, what is normal weight, but I am aware that this cannot continue, because I will go insane. Bulimia (I dont vomit anymore), anorexic phases, one year on antidepressive drugs (these were prescribed by a doctor), it did not help. On average two times a week, like panic attacks and eating again...

Default what i do

the way i control it is you have to conquer your mind games with yourself. When ever i want to eat stuff i know i dont need i try to stop and think. I ask myself is it worth enjoying this damn good cookie for the next 10 seconds or am i better off skipping it and not gaining worthless weight in the long run. I basically keep it things like that and stuff that has changed from years ago to now. Such as how many more chicks check me out because 2 years ago i was a fat man lol now not so bad. im only 20 so yeah but if u need more motivation ill try and help ya out.

I think you need help. Sorry to say but it sounds like you have some issues that a psychiatrist *sp* could help you with that stem from something more than we can help you with. We can get you started with diet and workouts but when it comes to mental health you need to go see someone. Please take care.

Dave: well worded. I feel the same way. You need professional qualified help...not a bunch of people on an online forum.

dido on everyone................like it was stated before we can help with diet, workouts. goals, etc. but if your eating dissorder comes from your state of mind you dont need us per say. if you want to take up fitness as a hobbie to get your mind off of everything we can give you pointers and everything. but you should see someone you can vent to. and you never know fitness may be something that may help you out. feel free to read through the forum to aquire some knowledge. please take care of yourself and understand that no one is brushing you off. we are just trying to tell you what we think is best for you
