Default Lightheaded when lifting

so im getting back into my routine agian and today i was lifting and i had gotten way light headed after on set of 8 reps of benching, what do you think i should do?:

tjlaplant's Sig:age: 20
bench: 225 lbs
squat: 225 lbs
height: 5'11"
weight: 255 lbs
body fat%: No clue

Most likely sudden changes in blood pressure would do this. Make sure you are not holding your breath the whole time or straining. Control the rate of lifting enough so that you can breath properly. Sometimes people lift so fast that they are essentially holding their breath during a period of several reps and this can lead to lightheadedness. If it tends to happen no matter what you do it is probably something that will subside with time.
