| I like doing squats but the bar puts a lot of pressure on my neck area even with the pads. I broke a bone in my neck 10 years ago so i'm concerned about this. A few weeks ago i saw a guy with a manta ray attachment that goes on the bar and you just fit your shoulders under it. It's supposed to take the weight off the neck. Anybody ever seen one? |

Gender: | we have one at our school and i find that it does nothing if not fitted correctly. If it doesn't fit on your neck right all it will do is hurt your collar bone really bad. I would say that it isn't all that helpful |

Gender: | it would be impossible to use for a front squat because thats on your chest/shoulders. we've got one at my school and it doesn't fit anyone over about 200 pounds (they may come in different sizes). if you broke a bone in there and it hurts bad when doing squats id give it a try. |
