Has anyone ever done situps and then afterwards your stomach muscles tensed up and felt like they were going to pop out of your skin? It almost felt like I was getting a hernia. So far it has happened to me twice lately and has made me back off of doing a lot of them for fear it is going to be a hernia.

Maybe I'm the only one, but I feel doing sets of 20 with alot of weight every few days is better than a thousand situps. The goal is making your muscles in your abs bigger. Diet will help them show.
