If you take barbell rows and some sort of machine row, both have the same ROM and you're generating the same contraction with both...then what is the difference, to the muscle, between the two exercises? (Maybe those were bad examples, but hopefully you can see my thought process As far as exercise changing goes...It all depends on what you're doing and what stage you're at. If you can keep progressing with the same exercise then why change? By the same token if you can't progress anymore or you need a break from that exercise, why not change? Maybe you need to throw in some variations, its based highly on the individuals needs and that timeframe. | |

Gender: | im with you on that one guys the amount of books that i have bought and read i am a big beliver in the fact that you can never stop learning - my only thing is that the only site i can seem to order from (the one you guys directed me to) is an american site there doesnt seem to be any english sites that i can order from. I had a bad experience ordering from an american site before as my item didnt arrive and i had a nightmare trying to get something sorted out. have you guys bought from the site before can know its ok? |

Gender: | there all done i have put my order in so i can get stuck into reading all the ins and outs of the starting strength routine im hoping that this will get me on the right track of building some muscle in the best way possible, cheers for your advice guys and i will let you know how i get on with my progress on this. i read that some people have gained upto 60 pounds of muscle in 6 months!! what kind of gains have you guys found on it if you have used it? thankyou again to everyone for their help im sure you get fed up of us newbies probably asking the same things, its appreciated |
