Gender: | Sounds like you know what to do already, just that you don't wanna hurt mamma's feelings. I remember when I was younger my brother was the first one to step up and start eating healthy and lift. My parents didn't eat the very best of foods, so he just told them that he wasn't going to eat the fried and greese that they cooked. Eventually over time his attitude change the whole family and we started doing what he was doing...To this day we all thank him, and since he is 6 yrs older than me I got an early jump on healthy living. You just need to let them know how your feeling and maybe that will spark something, and you will all be motovated. |

Gender: | Start cooking for yourself and/or pick a night and you cook for you and your family. That way you can do what TALO said and give your mom a rest with the cooking. This is my favorite cooking site. I get most of my recipes from here. http://www.cookinglight.com/cooking/ |

Gender: | Great advice from everyone. I'd also say you should try to set realistic goals. You know, in reality no one walks around at 7% bodyfat all the time. And also, what you'll find is that your body starts to store fat differently as you build muscle so that even at slightly higher bodyfats than single digits you won't necessarily have a hugh gut or love handles. And you don't really need to get down to 7% to see your abs. That's very low. I would advize you to set SHORT TERM GOALS and try to reach them. Like stepping stones one to the other, rather than looking always at what you want you end result to be. Doing it that way can be very hard and discouraging. |
