Im working out at hoem now because I bought a 300 pound set from DICKS for 110.00...... It basically comes with 2 45`s, 2 35`s, 2 25`s, 2 10`s, 4 5`s, and 2 2 1/2`s..... and a bar... but basically.... now that I wont be going to the gymt o workout im trying to situate a new workout routine considering im not going to have machines anymore. Liek for example:::::

Today---- I just bought the shit--- so I did---
- 5x5 Deadlifts
- 6x5 Bentover Rows
- Pull Ups
- Barbell Curls

Thats about all I thought possible to do with only a bar???
Then comes Leg day? What am I going to do squats and lunges??

Well you REALLY need a squat rack..preferably a power rack. And a bench?

Squats, box squats, single leg variations, deadlift and variations is all you really need for legs. I would have done some overhead lifts in that workout.

Eric3237's Sig:To go from the general to the specific is a very good idea. But to go from the specific to the general; that's just confusing.

Eric is right, pick up a power rack man and a bench get some quality stuff and that is all you will need for a lifetime. As far as legs just do variations of the squat regualar, front squats, sissy squats, hack squats, etc.

I don't know what your budget is for equipment, but if your going the home gym route, make the investment and purchase good equipment. Don't cheap out, and buy the $100 bench from Dicks which will pinch the shit out of your hands because it's a mid-width style bench.

A rack is your best option, but if space is limited, like in my case, try to find an olympic width bench which has a configuration for dips, and if possible a config for squats. I have a solution which is working for me, shoot me a PM if you want specific model #s.
