Gender: | agreed i am desperatly trying to give up smoking again but for as silly as it sounds its the stress of work that i smoke. i know it aint good and im working on kicking the habit but its a hard one to break |

| Absolutely and this is coming from a smoker of 50+ years. There is an element that is needed for maximum workouts and muscle growth called oxygen. This minor element is cut short by smoking. Yes smoking can help keep fat down but it also do to a lack of oxygen cuts down on strength, endurance and puts toxins into the body that can be pumped into the muscle inhibiting growth. There are ways to off set some of the negatives but the best choice is never start smoking followed by stop smoking. |

| ^^ lets not forget that smoking isnt the only way to get nicotine in to your system. I agree that smoking anything really is not good for your cardiovascular health ... That being said, I cant agree with this Quote:

Gender: | i think dipping would be the lesser evil as far as messing w/ ur bodybuilding lifestyle.....but its nasty, and who wants to drink a disgusting protein shake with a disgusting dip in?? damn, my stomach gets queasy just thinking of those stupid shake, blahak |
