My military presses are pure ass, never did them when I was younger because I believed the gymrats who told me they were bad for me, so unlike most of the lifts this is my first go at these. Cleans from the waist? nope, never tried that.

New PRs

Deads

3x5 - 255 - there is more in the tank here but I'm takin this slow

Rows

3x5 - 155 - still smackin the gut on on rep 5

Military Shoulder Press

5 x 5 (last week) - 115 - likely could do another 5 or so.

I've dropped cleans :( Due to space limitations I have to use a shorter than normal bar (taken into account in the weight) and they've been slicing up my forearms like a pizza cutter. And added pendlay rows.

Based on more and more reading on this site, I'm considering finishing off this run on the 5x5 and starting Madcow's version of the "Starting Strength" program and committing to it for at least 6 months EDIT: OOps, not Madcow, got to it through Madcow somehow tho, lol. This one --> http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=750551 . From what I can tell it looks to be the best for a noobie like me. I'll also be joining a decent gym (instead of the basement) in Jan which has lots of lovely squat racks which will let me do squats without scaring the shit out of myself.

Cheers.

DE BENCH day today I did 5 sets of speed bench, then built up to a new RM (big fucking PR too).. 275x1, 315x1, 365x1, 385x1...

405 x 1! Fucking owned!! Nice when the whole gym during the 5pm rush stops and admires some good hard work..

I just hit 405 x 1 for full deep squats last night.

Fuck everyone's hitting some big numbers on this site!

To add to the frenzy, I hit 365 for 3 reps on Deads today! That is a PR of over 50lbs!

Kane's Sig:Bench:275 [1x1]
Deadlift:365 [1x3]
A2G Squat:275 [1x3]

"Shut up and squat!"

"NO, this is my squat rack. Go get your own!"

Just stepped it up one more notch....425 *1 for squat. Waited about 4 mins and tryed to get another one, but I got caught on the way up. Thank God I had the spotter bars in.
