Default Rippetoe's warmup?

I've spent a lot of time today looking at an extensive Rippetoe's writeup (http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=998224). I remember reading something about needing a warmup before doing the actual exercises, but couldn't find anything on it with a search engine, or in this article. What am I supposed to do for a warmup? Anything?

I don't know if there is a "Rippetoe warmup" but here is the warmup sticky.

Rippletoe doesn't give too much specific instruction on this. He basicall says start with an empty bar and build up with even increments. Using sets of five. No real acclimation sets with ultra low reps.

I'm not sure I would do it that way but it would depend on how heavy a weight you are using. If it were 200 you might start with the empty bar at 45 lbs. Then go to 50% of working weight, then 75 and then on to the working sets. As the weight gets heavier you may need more warmup increments. But for my example it would look something like this:

Empty Bar X 5 (maybe for 2 sets)
100 X 5
150 X 5
Working Sets at 200

Notice the warmup reps are the same as the workout. No higher reps but you could use more increments. The last warm up set should never be too close to the working sets if you are doing it this way. I wouldn't go much more than 75% of the working weight.

It think for the purposes of this program it's probably a good way to go you just have to make sure that the warmup is helping and not hurting.
