Gender: | Here's a little challege for all you guys. In fourteen weeks I have this little reunion to go to. I want to set some realistic goals for myself and haven't found anything online to estimate a good workable goal. I work Shoulders, Tris, and Bis together. Legs. Then work chest and back together. Three days. Then repeat. No lifting on Sundays. Cardio is every morning at 5:00 AM. Usually 25-30 minutes HIT followed by five two-minute rounds jumping rope. On Saturday and Sunday mornings, I ride my bike for about and hour. I live in the deep South, so no hills or mountains...just plain flat riding. I eat relatively clean, Limited fat, no fried, etc. No supplements. If my body can't produce enough HGH and Testosterone on its own then what's the purpose. I do take multi-vitamins and Designer Protein as insurance. What should I realisticly be able to set as a goal for 14 weeks from now? How much muscle mass can I realisticly estimate to gain and how much fat can I realisticly estimate to lose? I realize there are a lot more variables, but I just want an estimate...something to shoot for. ![]() |

| A good, safe goal for fatloss is 2lbs a week. Anything over that and your really risking muscle loss, especially if your doing it without suppliments or drugs. Now, the cardio you outlined doesnt seem realistic to me, anything over 15 minutes of HIIT means your not doing it correctly. And you sure as hell shouldnt have energy afterward to jump rope. I would watch limiting your fats too much, its not healthy. and certain fats aid in fatloss greatly, especially those found in fish oil. |

How many grams of protein do you take in each day? Why do you mix shoulders, tris, and bis together? That is not a very good mix IMO. What is your workout like. Rep ranges? What exercises do you do? What are your current physical stats and how long have you been lifting/working out because it has not been +10 years...that makes a huge difference when setting goals. If you have been lifting +10 years, then you haven't been very serious about it or well informed or you wouldn't have to ask this question. | |

| Rank: Light Heavyweight Experience: 3-5 Years | the doctors say its all relative...if im working with a fool who says he has 10+ years of experience with weightlifting and then asks basic newbie questions, i become a smart ass. otherwise im just smart. ![]() oh, btw....i wonder why this is a "challenge" for the members here??? who the fuck are you to challenge anyone? why dont you prove your knowledge of 10+ years of training and then we'll worry about other challenges. aight? |
