Default The left side of my abs are larger and more defined..

The left side of my abs appear larger and more defined then the right. I read this could be a result of genetics or could it be just poor form resulting in a muscle imbalance? Any thoughts on how to correct this?

Very, very doubtful that it's genetics. It's probably bad form. Just do less weight and concentrate more on form...or same weight, but make sure you put a lot of focus on form. I have a tendency to compensate to one side when I'm doing squats...especially heavy, but I always watch myself. Don't try to train your smaller side more...just use good form and it should even out.

Thanks for the advice, I had a suspicion that was the likely cause.

Do you sleep on one side more than the other? Maybe some bodyfat will settle. Try sleeping on your back so it can redeposit evenly.

I like to sleep standing up. That way all of the fat is in my shoes and is easier to hide.
