I should have put this here long ago. Lyle McDonalds bulking routine. The thread is a bit jumbled, but you can piece it together, its a great bulker for strength and hypertrophy.

This is the 10 week size surge program. The Casey Viator - Colorado Experiment.

Diet and program..

TALO's Sig:"But when do you actually grow? Well, we don't grow in the gym. In the gym, we destroy. We tear down the body. We only grow when we are recovering. That's right, I said recovery. I see it all the time--people beating themselves up in the gym and not seeing results. They don't understand that hitting the weights hard is only a small part of growing or even cutting down. I could train the same all year round and get big or get ripped just by eating different and taking different supplements"

HERE is his website...he had a magazine that you can still get the backissues from. His concepts are good and grounded in common sense. I don't agree with everything he says but as far as the big picture I think you could do much worse. I think it's probably a good place to start but it's best not to become a disciple to one way of thinking. Use it, learn from it, but keep branching ever outwards and taking info from wherever you can get it.

If you lift a little pink dumbell 300 times...toward the end it will "feel" intense. If you think it IS intense, then you need a better defintion of intensity.

Here is a routine that a bunch of folks at another board I frequent use. It focuses on the back, but, I think, effectively works everything else. It's called "Baby Got Back" It was written by Marianne Anderson. She went from being a tub of lard to a lean mean hella-body chick. She knows her stuff.
