how much weight did you do on your 3rd set? you may have not been properly warmed up...

how much rest did you take between sets?

My rest is pretty much consistent, between 90 sec (rarely) and three min (rarely).

An example of my problems:

DB press.
65# @ hand 12X
70# 10X
75# 2X!!
80# 4X

Probably just in your head then if rest isnt the problem.

Oh well I think you said you will try 0311's warming up thing so maybe after that you will be able to get a good 3rd set in.

thats kind of weird lol. i think its definatly in your head mentally maybe after 2, 3 sets you need to refocus or something. or like everyone else said maybe u need to just warm up better

I cant really say I rest completely in between sets. When ever I am not lifting, I am either doing some ab workout or I am working out my tongue.
