Default Went to the Chiropractor

... on Friday. I was hurting so bad I had to stop squating. After running his powerful, rough hands all over my quivering body he said "Youse all messed up!" and did an adjustment. I went back today for another and have one scheduled for Thursday already. Man I feel better already and if things go well I'll squat on Friday for the first time in several weeks.

Do most of you get adjustments do to the stress you put on your bodies?

In the Marines I used to go to one. It costed me only $20 per visit. It starts off as a massage, then she finds a way to crack every joint you have. I used to leave there feeling like I was floating.

Yeah, the whole session only lasts 15 minutes. Makes you feel like jello. When you get in there, keep in the back of your mind which areas are giving you problems...(I made it all up.) They give you a diagram of the human body and ask you to circle your problem areas. I circled the whole thing and said I was in the infantry. The doc didn't ask me anymore questions after that!

Oh it's not bad at all. I just get out of whack every now and then.

Every now and then the HEAVY UPRIGHT ROWS lets me know I need to go visit the voodoo doc.

I have actually wanted to go to one just to see how they are at making the pain go away.

There are different styles of Chiro, and one may agree with you and one may not. If you can find one that is younger (45 or younger) they generally have a better way of dealing with the fact you lift and such. Most Chiro's cringe when they hear you are doing anything compressive, like squats, shrugs, etc. The younger ones still have those opinions but they are more sports-oriented, in general.
