Arrow What are you training for?

Just wanted to see what everyone is currently busting their ass for. My vote is for primarily strength. I'm doing a modified westside routine via Matt Reynolds, with whom I'm getting personally trained. I love it so far.. I'm surprised to see how much hypertrophy there is in a powerlifting program...Which I'm not complaining about. I finally feel in my element with box squats, push presses, and other lifts noone in my gym would contemplate doing.

So that's my story.. How is everyone else going about reaching their goals?

I'm definitly focusing on gaining mass. Strength isnt as important to me right now as mainly getting bigger. I will obviously become stronger by building more muscle mass, but my focus is on increasing my size through the HST program I'm following (designed by 0311 of course).

Well I'm cutting body fat now but in the process I'm trying to be a "cardio stud" so I can out last everybody on the mat and in the ring.

I'm working on strength, endurance, and trying to cut some fat while I'm at it...all of this so I can hopeully kick some ass in my upcoming hockey season and maybe get back into martial arts later on. So I'm also going for flexibility

Right now I'm trying to cut bodyfat, but after I'm done I'm probably going to be doing something like 5x5 again, or maybe something else

Well I've learned a valuable lesson...anything that significantly builds my strength puts mass on me like nothing else. So since I'm doing WS4BB obviously I'm going for strength/hypertrophy my focus is on putting more metal on the bar. I went very aggresive like I always do and had to deload after 4 weeks and I'm tuning up for another blast. After that...who knows?
