Im starting Westside for Bodybuilders (WS4BB) http://www.bodybuilding.net/17750-4-post.html Are you guys familiar with the musclenow diet? If you are.. do you think the ideas would work well with this routine? If you want me to explain the diet briefly I can thanks. |

Gender: | okay so say you are bulking and having 7 meals a day and having 4000 calories This will be the breakdown over the meals 1. 10% calories of 4000 - 400 cals 2. 10% calories of 4000 - 400 cals 3. 10% calories of 4000 - 400 cals 4. 25% calories of 4000 (pre workout) - 1000 cals 5. 25% calories of 4000 (post workout) - 1000 cals 6. 10% calories of 4000 - 400 cals 7. 10% calories of 4000 - 400 cals Each meal is - 60% low gi carbs, 40% are complete protien cals. Pre/Post workout - 25% is protien, 75% is high gi carbs, like dex, pineapple / apple juice, maltodextrim, raisins, saltanas etc Your bedtime shake is 400 cals, is 60% protien, 40% low gi carb Thats pretty much it. ![]() |

Gender: | You payed for that? Oh well. I'd urge you to get some healthy fats in that diet. Also you need to be willing to adjust macronutrient levels to suit your needs. Just cuz some guy experimented and came up with a diet that works for himself doesn't mean the same ratios will work for you. What is your training history like? That program is not for the novice. |

Gender: | Don't get insulted. After all I have no info to go on. You did ask about the diet after all. There are lots of much praised things on the internet. Whether it works or not depends on you since there is no one diet that is perfect for everyone but only guidelines to help people plan and experiment with those diets.
