fair points, thanks for the response

what do you guys suggest then? im in the off season at the moment until pre season starts in about 2 months. I'm sick of my old routine because altho it did get results, i need a change and it wasn't a decent routine. Here's what it was:

Mon: back/Chest/tri

Tues: legs/shoulders/bi's

Wed: back/Chest/tri

Thurs:legs/shoulders/bi's

Fri: back/Chest/tri

then the next week id mix it up so id be doing legs/shoulders/bi's 3 times instead
stupid routine i know but it did help me pack on quite a bit of muscle, when i started it i weighed probably 60kg or something, skinny as a rake!
i just want a new routine that i can keep progressing with

I hate to say it but look up Rippetoe's Starting Strength.

Don't get me wrong its not a bad program...quite the opposite. Its so good for beginners I think I'm becoming a broken record from saying it so much.

Doesn't look like you would get enough rest with this program. But maybe you don't need it.

When you say your in off season and pre season is coming up are you doing a bb show ?

Pity and IRon give some solid advice , follow.

Agreed. Focus on the compound lifts rather than getting hung up on a bodypart split and you will be better off.

I would recommend more along the lines of a full body routine consisting of compound movements. Lift heavy, train hard, eat big, and you'll do just fine.
