ok so ive been trying to get a six pack (or atleast stronger abs) for a while now, and i was wondering if there are any different splits or workouts for them. right now all i do is one giant set:
crunches with legs at ninety degrees x45
straight leg raises x30
hanging leg raises x20
decline bench crunch x15
help would be greatly appreciated
diet and cardio is usually where they come from...doing any cardio?
^^ Yeah, as far as them showing up goes, it's a body fat issue.
You might consider doing some weighted exercises. How big will you get doing sets of 50 push ups? Same applies to abs...
We all have ripped sixers. Some of ours are hidden under some "protection" :biglaugh:
Its all about diet and cardio.
I will be started my carb cycling diet on Monday and hopefully this fat will melt off.
thats a lot of ab work
i believe that i have created a caloric defecit. I just redid my diet and i have cut out all bad sugars. ALso, i have upped my cardio from 4 days to six. I will either run or use an eliptical for roughly 40 min. per day.
EDIT: What are your stats and goals?
with that many ab exercises....in one session...i bet your abs are just pissed at you :)
i have been doing this (6 days of cardio) for about a week..i weigh my self three times a day at the same time every day... i normally can get a consistant weight and lately it has plateud (SP?) at 260 and i would like to get it down to roughly 250. i had been doing cardio for four days a week for roughly 2.5 months...

Sounds good. I think you're on the right track.
