there is no need for a beginner forum. yes it does work on other sites but this site isnt so big that it needs MORE categorization.

what can be done is that u can make a thread with the best of the threads in that forum links. all the wars the specific discussions can all be recorded and then it can be updated as and when needed. this could help.

Whether or not there is a beginner forum, someone brought up the faq page. Might not be a bad idea in general. Just a post that touches quickly upon things to get people started. A post where maybe if someone sat down and read for 15 min they would have alot of their questions answered right off the bat instead of pouring through all of our info to find something like the cee question (not that all the info is bad cause im still reading all of it) What do you guys think?

The statistics on sanity are that one out of every four persons is suffering from some sort of mental illness. Think of your three best friends -- if they're okay, then it's you.

wow, I havent been reading much for posts lately until today and I really see why this came up. It is alot of the same questions and although it would be nice to just say "read the stickies" it's gotten to the point where I think it was huntor said just copy paste it and that will be my response haha. Anyways I dont really have a spectacular suggestion yet, but the good advice ive gotten here is the reason I always llok to this site for info. I just hope that alot of noobs arent scared off by the same read stickies/beginner strength advice.

I don't see a point in a "beginners forum" for the same reasons others have said.

As for telling new people to read the stickies, yes I'm guilty of it but it's the people that cop an attitude and don't listen to anything, that gets me annoyed. If they where to say they went through and don't know which sticky it is, then I would me more incline to take the time to show them because it shows that they at least looked a little the there is no attitude.
I'll play nicer next time.

Yeah I was getting frusterated with a few new rude people and I kinda took it out on the wrong person. Im going to make a better effort to be more helpful myself because thats what kept me around this forum is the awesome members here. Id rather be part of the solution then part of the problem.

Thanks for the insight! That's the exact reason why I created this thread.
