Biceps?

The only bicep exercises I can find are different types of curls. Are there any others!?!?!?

pullups/chinups, rows, etc... I bet your one of those people that devotes a whole training day to arms, huh? Well, take a look at the stickies, especially the DFT 5x5.

If you want bigger 'looking' biceps or ARMS in general, here's what you should be doing:

First 2-3 years:

* Heavy presses and pulls: Bench, barbell rows, pullups/chinups, focusing on progression, frequency of lifts themselves, and nutrition.

After you developed a base:

1. Heavy triceps presses/extensions. Triceps make up 3/4 of your arm size!

2. Reverse grip curls/hammer curls. When you focus on the brachalias you will make your arm look much wider, and it will help push your biceps up.

3. Good genetics.

Stop obsessing over arms. If you could curl 100lbs an arm and only squat 200lbs...I would not be impressed. Progress and strength is not measured with bicep curls. It shows you don't know anything because you can get big arms without curling anything. Read your book again.

btw: try curling 50lb dumbbells while your squat, bench and deadlift are around 100lbs. It would be funny to see someone curling that while barely being able to stabilize their legs, lower back and shoulders.
