Default Cardio for weight loss...

weight Loss through cardio exercise is one of the oldest method. But the fact is old is gold. No one can say a better exercise for weight loss than cardio. it is also called as aerobics. Running at the pace of minimum 10 km /hr for an hour will helps to burn approximately 600 calories minimum. Research says that burning 7500 calories will rip off 2.204 pounds of your body weight.... Another great way to cut weight is to do high rep weight lifting. This is awesome for getting lean cut up muscles and losing weight. I'm talking high reps, no less than 15. No max...I've done up to 250 reps (while on the treadmill).

I know cardio will help u lose weight, but what can you do besides running cause i heard that running will make you lose muscle mass?

You can do interval training on your non-lifting days (uphill sprints, etc). The key to any kind of cardio training is to avoid over-doing it.

But the most important thing for getting lean is getting your diet in order.

Hey...
As far as i think swimming which is one of the cardio exercise is best and most effective option to loss weight... There are lot of resistance in water so more energy require to overcome on that means more calories burn..

Cardio is great for loosing weight, although weight lifting burns more calories than running. Lets say you run for an hour and you burn 600 calories. Once you step off the tredmill you stop burning those calories. When weight lifting you burn calories while lifting and depending on your body you can burn calories for up to 72 hours later. I would personally preffer to do both. Get the best of both worlds. But, it is said you burn more calories from lifting than running.

Cycling is the best cardio exercise and there are many exercises but the best exercise that i have observed is cycling because cycling is the only exercise in which your both legs remain in movement and you can easily develop stamina. And it is one of the best exercise among all and i usually do cycling twice in a week and i do cycling for 10 miles and i enjoy a lot.
