How can you train your fast twitch muscles and your slow twitch muscles at the same time?

ive been told taht training the fast twitch muscles is hindered by the effects of training the slow twitch muslces.

You cant train them at the same time really. Low reps (1-6) work fast twitch Type 2A, Medium reps(6-10)work Medium Type 2B fibers(medium twitch), and really anything above 12 works slow twitch.
As far as slow twitch hindering fast twitch, its possible. Doing someting like long duration cardio can tend to convert fast twitch to slow twitch, but i doubt if you are lifting heavy in a low to moderate rep range, that activities involving slow twitch fibers will cause the conversion of fast to slow twitch..

BTW, Fast twitch fibers grow faster, and are capable of a higher degree of growth than slow twitch
