the very name "DFT" implies intermediate and beyond.

Stick with Rip's Starting Strength program and get some food in ya!

Bro, have some patience. If you gain 12lbs in 1 yr most would consider that great.Shit, you could prob do 20lbs a yr...your young and full of test. Eat your food and have patience, by the time your 20 you could be close to 200lbs.

Honestly i think you can gain 8-12 pounds in a month in a half or two, i mean thats what happened to me. But everybody is differen't. Just EAT AND TRAIN LIKE A FREAK AND YOU'LL LOOK LIKE A FREAK. Go do some reasearch and read around the sticky. There is a lot of info on here. Check out some whey protine and some creatine. That'll for sure get your weight up in a month. Good luck

I put on 10lbs in just under 4 weeks using Rippetoes Starting Strength routine and eating...alot. Sure it wasn't all muscle, but some is and I'm hoping to add another 15-20lbs before cutting. Like you, I've always been very skinny. It's taken me about 15 years to realize what these guys have already said. EAT!!! And when you're full, eat some more. lol
