Default How's this

I Just finished 8 weeks on a 5x5, and started something new what do you think.

Keep in mind I train at home.

Sun.
Flat Bench 3x8 moderate weight 3x3 heavy
Incline bench 3x8
Dumbell press 3x8
Flies 3x8
Tricep extension 3x8


Monday
Deads 3x5
pullups 3x5
Rows 3x8
Bend over rows 3x8
Shrugs 3x15
Dumbell curls 3x8


Wednesday
Squats 3x8
Leg ext. 3x8
Leg Curls 3x8
Standing calf raises 3x15


Thursday
Flat bench 5x5
Squat 5x5
Deads 5x5

I would probably switch Monday & Wednesday. You have a LOT of volume in two upper body workouts back to back. I'd probably drop one of the presses Sunday and one of the rows Monday. And move the Thursday workout to Friday because it's a total body workout...so it will be good to have a day off before you workout to prevent overtraining.

You may want a day or two off before the squat/bench/dead day. I believe that it will be fairly heavy to squat/dead/bench two days in a row.
