i feel chest much better when doing narrower grip dips
i tried doing wide grip dips with leaning forward and my power really decreased. i also didnt feel chest too much.
i switched to a little narrower grip (but still a bit wider than shoulder width) and my power really increased and also i felt much more stretch and chest work. is this normal? |

All i do is lean forward more on the narrow grips and can feel an excellent pump in my chest. Also, I have a past shoulder injury as well. I find the narrow grip puts less strain on them. But at the end of the day, FF is right, do what works for you! Cheers |
Everyone has different body leverages. If it helps you reach your goals, do it.
