Default i feel chest much better when doing narrower grip dips

i tried doing wide grip dips with leaning forward and my power really decreased. i also didnt feel chest too much.

i switched to a little narrower grip (but still a bit wider than shoulder width) and my power really increased and also i felt much more stretch and chest work.

is this normal?

If it works for you, do it.

same with me bro!
All i do is lean forward more on the narrow grips and can feel an excellent pump in my chest.
Also, I have a past shoulder injury as well. I find the narrow grip puts less strain on them.

But at the end of the day, FF is right, do what works for you!

Cheers

Everyone has different body leverages. If it helps you reach your goals, do it.
