Default Lack of Motivation

The past 2 months I have been telling myself, "time to do this for good, none of this 2 week on 1 week off". I keep saying it but I just can't pull myself together to keep with it. It's been really pissen me off cause everytime theres a new excuse, "to tired" knees hurt" back hurts" "to late" "I will go tomorrow". And nothing gets done.

Anyone got any good reccomendations to keep motivated, I know this topic has come up more than once.

New routines just arn't doing it for me.

Hey Verb..I have a feeling he likes Hrdgain's motivation better than mine!..But, the reality is you need to go in there for every set fearless, in essence having the same mentality as the link I provided for Eddie.

Nothing motivates me more than a reliable work out partner. If I don't feel like going, he threatens to kick my ass, calls me a pussy, etc... If he doesn't feel like going, I return the favor. I rarely miss time in the gym because of this. Plus, in addition to the gym, you get some, "Time with the boys," to talk about broads, booze, cars, motorcycles, and whatever else you're into (is there anything else?).

motivational movies/links telling you your mighty are awsome. But I'm convinced a good workout partner is the thing that does it for me, kind of what you said Frankie, someone who will motivate me when the last place I want to be is the gym (like this happens often lol)
