Looking to Cut Need Advice

Hey everybody..

Just joined this forum and this is my first post. I was trying to figure out what I wanted by just reading everybody else's posts.. but it seems that it would be a lot easier if I posted something myself.. Well here it goes..

As you can see by my pic.. Im not in terrible shape, but what I want is to get more definition in my muscles.. mostly more definition in my abs (would love to have a solid six pack). Im not worried about gaining any size, just more lean muscle mass.

I don't really know much about bodybuilding, but I have been working out for about a month now and just joined a gym. I am dedicated enough to get the results that I want.. now I just need the direction.

My Daily Eating Routine

Breakfast - Ususally oatmeal and veggies or egg white omlet with veggies and some fat free cottage cheese sometimes

Snack - A muscle milk light with a light string cheese or veggies

Lunch - Salad w/ chicken strips and veggies with a balsamic vinegar dressing and some fat free cottage cheese sometimes

Snack - Dont really get this one in all the time but veggies or string cheese

Dinner - Chicken or Fish with veggies and FF cottage cheese sometimes

Liquids - Water or Diet Green Tea from Arizona Ice Tea

I dont know if my eating is off, so let me know if you have any suggestions. A couple of days ago I got some Fish Oil, a Multivitamin, and B12. Dont take any other supplements, but I ordered NO-Explode and Nutrex Lipo 6X. Work out at least 5 times a week with about 2miles of cardio before any weight training. Have really no direction in the gym, so a work out plan would be great. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

look around the site for rippetoes starting strength. this will add muscle on your frame. making it easier to loose the fat. your diet looks very lean to me (im not an expert on the diet thing) but the squats will strengthen your abs and make them bigger, even though its a leg exersize. and make you as a hole stronger. that diet will probably work for a few months if its not good, simply becasue your so new to lifting. so your noob gains aren't over. good luck man. and stick with it.
