Motivation

There is a woman in my health club who always begins her workout with sit-ups and leg-lifts. One afternoon she entered the excersize room and, as usual, lay down on the slant board as if she were to do sit-ups. This time, though, she did not. Instead, she turned around on the board and positioned herself for leg lifts. Again she stayed there for several moments without doing a single exercise. Finally she got up and headed out of the room. As she walked past me, she said, "Thinking about it was enough for today."

Ever felt like this woman?

No, I just think about the next $70,000 I'll make.

Just kidding. If I'm tired and unmotivated, I just think about my muscles growing and about the nice endorphin rush I'll get after a good workout.

If that's what you want, you could try sticking your body with thousands of needles like in Indonesia. :p

Way beyond. I'm talking about sticking yourself with thousands of needles and hanging yourself up by them. I forgot what it's called, but I saw it on one of those tatoo shows on DSC. :D The pain releases endorphins

Tried that, it's friggin awesome! ;)

Really, all I meant is I feel good after a good workout. Working out has it's own motivation. And it is like a drug that way. That's why so many people insist on hitting the gym everyday, even to their own detriment.

At the same time, I get tired of hearing the people who insist on getting in shape has to be "fun". It can't always be fun. That's why the word work is in there.
