Default Motivation Help :)

Hey guys, I'm just wondering what kind of things motivate you when you're feeling kinda blue and not excited about the gym. I know.

I used to be raging for the gym, but the past month or so it's become more of a chore than a passion. I mean, I have an impressive physique (for now) and I've made great progress, but I just haven't been feeling it lately.

Any advice or tips?

Thanks in advance.

For me personally it's always that drive to increase the weight I lift. I love putting up new PR weights and it keeps me coming back time after time.

my motivation is athletic talent. i know that my weight lifting will help me become a better athlete, that's why i do it. the healthy diet is the hardest part since, well, healthy food doesn't taste as good as shitty food haha.

Sometimes I'll wait until the next day if I really just don't feel like training at all. But sometimes I just grind through a workout regardless of how I feel. Either way it is consistency over the long term that really matters.

Having workout partners really helps motivation. It's easy to make excuses when you're on your own but when someone is expecting/counting on you to be there it helps a lot. Also, it gives a bit of a competitive atmosphere which can be motivating as well.
