a once-a-week per bodypart schedule is pretty much taking the slow route, especially for a beginner who is neither strong enough nor experienced enough to stress their body enough in one session that they need so many days between bodyparts. 48-72 hours between sessions is plenty of recovery for the majority of beginners who are squatting 2 or 3 times a week. Furthermore at that stage doing stuff for bi's, tri's, calves and front delts is wasted efrort and would be put to much better use doing the big lifts more often. Remember, doing "full body" does NOT automatically mean doing all the big lifts in every single session like an Arthur Jones HIT routine would have you doing. For example, you may do some lifts twice a week, others only once and then the opposite the next week.

just my $.02
