Same here LOL..Best thing you could do is have a spotter just hold the boards on your chest. You don't need a spotter behind you. If you fail, just rest the bar on the boards and have the spotter walk behind you and rerack it.

That's awesome bro!..I know you said you were stuck on 185 for a while a la single factor 5x5. Glad you're still progressing!

Only thing I can report is box squats are at 385 x 1 still RAW As soon as I get my wraps I'll be using them from now on.

i've not posted here till now because i wanted to finish HST completely...

well, so far these are my new PRs:

Incline Barbell Bench Press = 85 kgs (190 lbs) x 5 reps
Olympic Squats = 120 kgs (265) x 5 reps
Deadlift = 160 kgs x 1 rep

right now, my 1 RMs on these 2 lifts are:
Incline Bench Press = 95 kgs (215 lbs) (an increase of 30 kgs i.e. 66 lbs)
Olympic Squats = 140 kgs (310 lbs) (an increase of 5 kgs i.e. 10 lbs)
Deadlift = 160 kgs (350 lbs) (an increase of 10 kgs i.e. 20 lbs)

also, my weight is at an all-time high of 81 kgs (178 lbs) @ 5'7..!

Thumbs up

lets see back around June 8th my max's were 190x1 on bench, 175ishx1 on A2G squats=just started A2G squats around June 8th and i didnt max out so i dont know what my max was but i know i have increased alot since then, im just guessing wut my max was. lets see deadlifts were 315 whenever i maxed out last and powercleans were like 170 something i think.

and now as of August 16th my bench max is 205x1, A2G squats 275, Deadlifts 325x1, and i will find out wut my powerclean is on the 18th probably so i will get that posted on here when i find out. but yeah...I am soo Happy!!!! i've only been lifting for a little over a year and i have made some huge gains. i've added like 100+lbs to my bench since i started, 150+lbs to my squats, probably around 100+lbs to my powercleans in the past 8 months, im not sure about my deadlifts though. i want to get a digital camera or something so i can take some good b4 and after pics so down the line i can put them in order and see my gradual progression. I love lifting weights. I wish there were some powerlifting clubs or something where i live. or atleast some other young kids my age who are into compound lifts.

Damn, hard work pays off bro! Just think of it like this. While you're doing all the lifts noone else your age would bother with, you'll develop a explosive strength base compared to them. You'll see them doing endless concentration curls building biceps made out of 16" of cotton candy while you're getting solid power packed muscle.

Good luck! They'll either be benching or doing biceps curls but hey, the power rack will always be free!

Hey ya'll I just broke my pr on bench again. I got up 210x1 earlier!!! that means that in a little over 2 months i added 20lbs to my max! I think that is pretty awsome. 20lbs is a pretty good amount of weight for bench.

Harsh, I'm in the same boat as you, No partner to train with so I just neglect board presses. End up doing a lot of rack lock outs. ;(
I tried A2G squats for the first time monday i got uhhhh 345, While on a cut.
