Shoulder Problem

Ever since i was young ive noticed that my left shoulder was different than my right. My left would contract and stick up but my right wouldnt and i can feel my left shoulder blade move but not my right. Its like i have nerve damage or something. It wasnt a big deal until i started lifting and my whole left side of my body seems to be taking off and leaving my right side behind. Is this something that i can work though or should i see a doctor.please if anybody else has had this proublem please post and let me know what you had to do to get the weaker side caught up.i swear its like i have a dead muscle in my back.thanks

I think you need to get that evaluated by a specialist.

I agree with eric. See a doctor and don't play around with your shoulders at all. If they are giving you a problem while lifting then definitely stop and seek advice or council from a doctor. I made the mistake of not doing that and I have had to have 4 surgeries on my shoulders....and maybe more in the future.

Working out is highly dependant on your arms and shoulders. Almost all muscle groups require some use of the arms either for stability in holding the weights such as squats or lifting the actual weights themselves. If those go or give you problems, seek help immediately.
