shoulders
what's the best routine to follow?
work out shoulders per one day a week.. or all the 3 days but just a few exercises? |
people ask because they want answers !
|
That all depends on you.if 3 times a week works best then go three times a week if once id better do them once...I work mine out once a week, but I alsohave injured my shoulders so im afraid to do a lot to them...its really all on you...3 times a week sounds a lot though, they don't grow when you lift, they grow when you rest so give them time to heal don't overwork them
|
Rest as much as you need to train optimally.
You could probably start out 3x a week if you're a straight up beginner but as you progress into heavier weights that will decrease. Also depends a lot if you're on a surplus or deficit diet... or if you're using gear or not... IW |

I am writing some of the best shoulder exercises:
1. Seated Dumbbell Presses 2. Dumbell Side Raise 3. Upright Barbell Rows 4. Dumbbell Shrugs If you want to do it once a week then do it with intensity otherwise 3 days are also good. |
Try The Arnold Press
|
I add shoulders to leg day with a variation of the following exercises:
military press upright rows lateral raises front raises reverse flies |

I switch my routine up a bit to how I am feeling that day. But,
Smith machine military press, seated Front dumbbell lateral Bent laterals 1 arm cable laterals Arnold presses. I too am very careful with my shoulder. So pick 3, use good form and don't let ego take over. 30 sec rest has worked out well for me. |
I used to do chest, biceps, wings and shoulders each two days a week and it's perfect for me.

I believe that rest is very important. If you are a beginner, start with once a week per muscle group. I do each muscle group 2 times a week (8 years experience).
