Actually I'm gonna add a bunch of single leg squat (pistol) stuff because I actually think they have more benefit and very NOTICEABLE benefit..

Robertson mentions the pistols in that first article I mentioned (a must read imo) and he has some progression tips but there are a couple three article I want to link as well.

Yeah, they're something you've got to grease the groove with. They can produce some soreness but you have to be willing to commit to them and give them some love.

That's actually one thing I dislike about many programs where people try to introduce a lot of useful variety and such.

Variety of this nature can be so very good.."programs" continue to teach people to be fearful of taking a break from there regular stuff and really spending some time doing these VERY beneficial "new" things.

So they'll introduce something like one legged squats which they throw in for a little bit but what they really should be doing is saying...let's get these down because once you do you are going to see some very MARKED improvement.

standing on something and doing them should be fun. my hams are barely flexible enough to do them just standing on the floor.

i bet i'd be alot better standing on something.
