I also had this kind of problem 2 years ago.All night I was wathcing the computer and not even falling asleep.
I decided to get up very early in the morning so I get tired a little earlier in the night. And this helped me.After several weeks in 11 I was in the bed

Its true. It happened to me as well when i was going to school. I got into the habit of going to bed very late at night (early in the morning) and sleeping through my first couple morning classes. Not good. Unless you actually force yourself to get up early you will never break that pattern. You'll be tired and feel like shit for the first few days but eventually your body will be tired enough that it will have to rest at the proper time.

It helps now that I'm going to work because I more or less am forced to get up in the morning.

I get up pretty early each day for class and/or practice (on Saturdays). I think it might be a dietary thing - not eating enough, that is - but I think if my weight stays good then the tea suggestion would help a lot. Thanks for your help everybody, I'm trying everything to see what works. Reading didn't seem to do much for me, but I think tonight I'll crack a textbook and see if that bores me a little better
