* Stuck and edited thead title. *

Good idea Joey.

I suggest people reply with their favorite information sources on certain workout programs and we can frequently update the main post to keep improving this list. As alot of this information starts to be covered on this site we will also reference threads from this board.

Bill Star's 5x5. I've been using Madcow2's variation found here:

This is one of my top choices because it forces you to plan macrocycle's for weeks and weeks on end.

Beyond Failure Training
Here's another interesting one. Not on my top ten, but maybe some hit'ite somewhere might like it.

can anyone recomend one of these wrkout routines as "the best" they can think of?

verbatimreturned 10-29-2005 06:26 AM

that would really depend on your goals and training experience

Newbie routine?
Boy am I new...and WOW, is that a lot of routines and info...anyone reccommend a good routine for a COMPLETE newbie with literally no experience, looking for a good workout leaning heavily toward cardio, I imagine...mostly looking to drop maybe 10-20 lbs of extra waistline, add a little muscle. Also, should mention, limited workout equipment...small town on an island, so...nautilus setup, olympic pool, stairmasters, treadmills.
