Default Trying something new

I read up that switchin the game up a bit and instead of doing 4-5 sets of 6-10 reps its a good idea to lower the weight a bit and go for a larger range of reps. The point would be to flood your muscles with nutrients... sounds good but would you make that your last set or would you randomly throw that in some where?

Sorry its five am and I just realized no one is going to understand what I just said. What I do is 4-5 exersices for one muscle normally 3 sets and 6-10 reps and if you were going to lower weight for one of those exersices and increase reps when would you do it?

I never lower the weight like that, i know its good to mix it up but from what i understand and what i do it goes more like this. Every 8 weeks i change my routine, so i will do 3 sets of six for an exercise and so on, keeping the weight heavy. Then after the 8 weeks il change it to 4sets of 10 for each exercise, because of the higher rep range the weight is reduced... Thats just my approach...

You do 4-5 exercises per muscle group? wow....IMO that's like overkill...
