lat pulldown, t-bar row, one arm db bent over row, cable rows.. think of what muscle is being targeted.. its only different exercises to stimulate it.

What equipment do you have? Are you set up at home?

Like enigm said, pull downs are one exercise. They are the closest thing to a pull up provided you have a pull down machine.

If you don't have this, you may have to be creative. Or just rig yourself a nice sturdy chin up bar. Emphasis on sturdy, so you don't kill yourself.

If you don't have any where to chin up I am assuming you don't have a lat pulldown machine, dumbbells or cable weights. The order of your exercises is a program, I suggest you read the stickies or get a trainer to write one for you.

What is your current program?

Just purchase a pull up bar, one which goes in the frame of the door. I've got one, cost was $20 and it hold up to 300lbs. Here is a link to one that's available online. I bought the one in the store directly.

Just a long time weight lifter, here. New to this forum though.

I guess us new guys all had the same idea at the same time.

You guys have some of the craziest smilies that I've seen anywhere.
