What he meant to say was:

high rep = volume

high intensity = working close to your 1 rep max

Same thing. It just seemed confusing when you didn't seperate them. You can't have high intensity with high volume. The intensity goes down as volume goes up. (Assuming you're talking about lifting the maximum amount that you can for that number of reps.)

correct, i was talking effort

one my sets of 10 i could probably muster out 20 reps (kind of a warm up, but i always take it slow and watch form on the first set)

on the set of 8 i might be able to get 12 reps again watching form

sets of 6 and 4 is failure and i just try not to hurt myself..lol

my poor un worked chest (off 3/4 months) is very sore from tuesday...

trying to be strict on diet though has suprisingly kept me full all day until about 20 min before each meal... working out nicely
