I'm really sorry to hear that, Eddie. It's gonna mean some major lifestyle changes, for sure. Here is a link to try if you don't already have it:

http://www.celiac.org

Don't count your chickens before they hatch, though. If you have a definite diagnosis of Celiac specifically, then the culprit is gluten. Gluten is a plant-based protein made by certain grains like some of those you mentioned. Celiac sufferers have to adhere to a gluten free diet.

Whey protein, in and of itself, shouldn't be a problem. Who told you it was? Also, egg protein, etc. Gluten, however, is added to a great many products, and may be present (as a thickener, for instance) in some protein powders. Soy protein powders a very likely to contain gluten. TVP, (textured vegetable protein, i.e. soy, is probably out, too).

Unless you have other allergies then you just have to find products that are gluten free. Labels can be inprecise, so contact manufacturers.

Again, I'm a little confused as to why all protein shakes would be out. However, don't take my word on all of this. I'm not a doctor, after all. This is just based on the info I have available to me.

All the best.
