Bodybuilding Glossary .. Help Add to it
I thought Eric made a good suggestion with the bodybuilding glossary so I am going to roll with it. Please post any terms you think are used commonly on the boards and I will make it into a post and stick somewhere in the future. This way we don't have to keep explaining the terms to new comers, we can just point to the glossary.
Heres some I collected:
PWO = post work out
HIT= High intensity training
HIIT= High intensity interval training
GI= Glycemic Index
HST= Hypertrophy Specific Training
BW= Body Weight
RM=rep maximum (maximum weight at that number of reps)
PCT=post cycle therapy
CNS = central nervous system
BCAA=branched chain amino acid
GVT=German volume training
PH - Prohormone
PS - Prosteroid
AAS - Anabolic Androgenic Steroid
ROM - Range of Motion
CEE - Creatine Ethyl Ester
CM - Citrulline Malate
NO - Nitric Oxide
BF%= Body Fat %
BMR= Basal metabolic rate
EFA= essential fatty acid
