just coz u play hockey doesn't mean u have to choose between enurance or strength..

for example, i think this will be a nice routine for you:

day 1: upper body emphasis - endurance (light) day
day 2: lower body emphasis - strength (heavy) day
day 3: off / gpp
day 4: upper body emphasis - strength (heavy) day
day 5: lower body emphasis - endurance (light) day
day 6: off
day 7: off / repeat from day 1
